“Education Leadership” – An opportunity should never be bought into. By definition, an opportunity is something that people will never sell you. From franchises to swamp land in Florida, to patents and inventions, it makes no difference. Theres nothing wrong with any of the things mentioned, however if somebody is trying to sell you these things, then they are not opportunities by definition.
An opportunity is an advantage that you can see that others cannot. I dont care about the dictionary definition, this is the real world definition. Opportunities are free. So, getting back to my definition of an opportunity.

So what that means is that you have vision while others do not. We are awash with money around us. Money or “value” is everywhere. As “Hayden Muller” says, “it permeates our lives like oxygen” The difficulty is not finding opportunity. It is literally everywhere all the time. We are suffering from snow blindness if we still work for a living when such abundance is around us in our every day lives.
The difficulty is not money either. Having access to a few hundred dollars is all you need to take advantage of a million daily opportunities that present themselves in our daily lives. Anyone with some determination can find that much.
No, the real difficulty is knowledge, or education. Its what seperates action from indifference. The question becomes, “so what?” “so what if I took this opportunity and made a few dollars, what next?” You see, without education, opportunities are meaningless. They lead now-where because we lack vision. Don’t worry, I lacked plenty of vision myself.
Today you could drop me out of the sky into any free city on the Planet with nothing but the shirt on my back and I would be living well within 3 months and be financially secure within 2-4 years. I know I can do that because my vision tells me I easily could.
Put me in the middle of New York, I would immediately find markets to deal in. Even before I found a place to sleep, I would begin learning about what free markets are available and what they most want and need. I would quickly establish contacts with suppliers and retailers to become the “middle man” my favourite place to be.
Within a week, I would have a few hundred dollars saved. I would use those funds and pyramid my purchases for faster and faster turn over until I had enough to buy small assets that are in high demand. Cars, boats, anything that was being sold that I could find really cheaply. My charm and good looks would make sure I got the best deals and sold them for the highest price (winks)

Let’s NOT forget some of the lesser known beaches of Southern Delaware – those hidden little places that not even the locals know much about. These are all along the Delaware Bay, north of Lewes. They are in order: Broadkill Beach and some call it the old name Broadkiln Beach; next to the north are Prime Hook Beach, Slaughter Beach and then Bowers Beach. These little beaches, each one with a unique personality of its own have no commercial establishments to amount to anything, no boardwalks and very little rental property market. The homes are mostly very modest older homes but that is changing fast.
Broadkill Beach, where I had an office for several years, was originally just squatters who did not own the land but had little “cottages” there, usually made of spare pieces of lumber and stuff picked up in the personal junk piles of the farmers who spent time there. Broadkill Beach still has some incredibly unique and sometimes ugly homes scattered among the beautiful modern showcases. Gradually the older homes are being removed by the new owners and larger and usually spectacular homes put in their place. Prices in Broadkill are less than half of those in Lewes, sometimes far less than half! There are no lifeguards, no beach cleaning, no town hall, no police, no mayor or government of any kind and few restrictions. This is a great fishing community. There are thousands of prehistoric Horse Shoe Crabs that mate and die on the beaches each summer but the locals consider that keeps the citified
people away and they like that.
Prime Hook Beach or Primehook beach depending on which map you use is far less expensive than Broadkill. There are far fewer modern homes there but the trend has started. Little by little the older, sometimes rough homes at Primehook are being refurbished. The waterfront homes at Primehook were always far larger and nicer than those at Broadkill. Many of them are not being removed, but are one by one, being restored.
Broadkill and Primehook as well as Slaughter Beach are all surrounded by huge barriers of wetlands behind them and between them. Fishermen can surf fish in the bay but mostly it is just the view from these beaches that the residents enjoy and the lost in time lack of modern restrictions and commercialism. Slaughter Beach does have its own volunteer fire department which serves as the social focus of the town. But mostly there are just good neighbors and a laid back life available at these old beaches. If you want something else, you’ll have to drive a half hour or so to one of the small towns inland to find it.
Bowers Beach is a strange and wonderful world out of place. For one thing you can’t get from south Bowers to north Bowers by car or foot – only by boat, unless you go many miles inland and back. Do you notice that more years gone by and more expensive the cost for education is? I guess we all know about it. This is just a common system that always happens year by year in most of schools and colleges in the world. But have you noticed much closer and much deeper whether the quality of the education in those schools and colleges are in balance with the money they receive? Do these education places produce qualified students to be ready for the advance technology? Or are the students to be ready for riots? Do these places just become a temporary sanctuary while the parents are out for work or the temporary shelter for the students until the bell to go home rings? Ever since local autonomy in Indonesia was applied in January 1 2001, all local government offices and departments which used to be centralized in Jakarta have got platinum chance; they got freedom whatever they want to do. Once, a wise man said that an education in the art is the absolutely best education one can gain because it exposes us to the most general field of studies. Throughout the time, we will know little about things. If we choose a more specialized field, we will then step by step learn more and more about less and less.
